Virtual classes to begin as Greensprings School shuts down due to Coronavirus

Earlier this week, we postponed the 2020 edition of our annual Greenspirngs Kanu Football Camp because of coronavirus (Covid-19). However, we continued to monitor the global developments of the virus spread, as well as the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria.

In line with the dynamic realities of the Coronavirus, Greensprings School has taken the decision to move all learning on-line for students effective Monday, 23rd of March 2020. The VLE platform and Wowbii Board for video conferencing have been enhanced to allow instruction to continue and to serve as the platforms for daily communication between students and teachers, and between parents and teachers.

Students will be expected to complete and submit their course work for the term online before the Easter Break.

We will continue to keep the lines of communication open by sending out announcements as necessary throughout this pandemic. The administrative offices will also remain open for essential services.

We are confident that our students’ learning will continue effectively on-line and that teaching and learning will not be disrupted.

We need your cooperation and support at this time to ensure that the impact of this pandemic is minimized in our homes, in our communities and in our nation.

We trust that God will see us through this safely.

Sincerely,

Dr. Barney J. Wilson

Deputy Director of Education
