Tesese Ahenjir and Dese Su’unter Ahenjir of our Lekki campus featured in two separate chess competitions this February, and the two made it to the top 3 positions.
Dese Su’unter participated in the Eduline Hope Foundation chess competition (Under-14 Category), took the second position, and was rewarded with a cash prize.
The competition received over 115 children from different schools across Lagos.
Her younger sister, Tesese, featured in the Orchid Lekki Chess tournament and emerged in the third position on the 5th runner-up.
The Eduline Hope Foundation chess competition took place on the 27th of February in Ikeja, while the Orchid Lekki Chess tournament was held on the 24th of February at Lekki.
