Lekki Campus Holds Table Tennis Competition, Discovers Talented Students

Due to the pandemic, the focus of our PE departments has been non-contact sports.  So, to promote fitness among the students and ignite their competitive spirit, our Lekki campus organized a table tennis competition for students in Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. The competition started on the 8th of March for both boys and girls in the year groups, and it ended on the 25th of March.

At the beginning of the competition, the six arms of each year group played against one another, and on the final day, two champions (a boy and a girl) emerged from each year group. According to Mr Bright Nduka, one of the PE teachers that organized the event, the end goal of the competition is to discover talents among the students and incorporate them into the school’s table tennis team.

Here is the list of the winners.
