Three students of our Lekki campus – Oghenetejiri Fabolude, Oretomi Ojo and Samantha Iduoriyekemwen – have been declared winners at the regional level of the national debate organised by the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN).
The students participated in the Key Stage 3 category of the debate, competing alongside students from eight other schools. For the topic, our students spoke in support of the notion, “The use of social media is a slippery slope for privacy.”
After a series of debate rounds, they made it to the final round and came first at the end of the debate session. The students will represent Greensprings at the national final of the AISEN debate which will take in the 3rd Term of the 2023/2024 academic year.
The competition was held on Saturday, 18th November 2023 at Dowen College, Lagos.
