Greensprings Bags 2nd Place In The 2022 Int’l STEAM Summit & Award

A team of four Elementary School students(Oluwatunmininu Omotola, Ayokiitan Jemiyo, Olamilekan Fabusiwa, Eselenoselumen Alenkhe) represented Greensprings School, Anthony Campus at the 2022 International STEAM Summit and Awards organised by Schools Computer Club Initiative.

The students bagged 2nd Place (Primary Category) in the Coding and Robotics competition out of the six primary schools that participated.

The coding and robotics project was aimed at testing the problem-solving and critical thinking skills of the students by coding the mBot to move in linear and angular directions.

The STEAM Summit and Award is an annual program organised by Schools Computer Club Initiative, under the umbrella of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS); an organisation of all Information Technology Professionals, Interest Groups and Stakeholders in Nigeria.

It aims at encouraging mutual interschool competition in animation and robotics.
