Celebrating Our Super Duper Mums: Highlights from Mother’s Day 2024

In recognition of our extraordinary mothers, we held our annual Mother’s Day event across our three campuses this month. This year’s theme, “Super Duper Mum,” aimed to honour the remarkable role of our mothers and ensure that our celebration truly reflected their amazing qualities.

Our beautiful and radiant mothers embraced the theme by adorning themselves in vibrant shades of Damask, embodying the dress code “Captivating in Damask” #EvolvingWithPride, which added an extra touch of brightness to the celebration.

Throughout the day, our mothers were celebrated in grand style as students from preschool to secondary levels honoured them through performances that ranged from cultural recitations, poem recitals, dramatic performances, songs, and choreography.

At our Anthony campus, we had the distinguished presence of Olori Mariam Anako, the wife of the Ooni of Ife, who highlighted the pivotal role of mothers in shaping the lives of their children while celebrating all our mothers.

Continuing our longstanding tradition, we recognised and awarded our Mothers of the Year across our preschool, elementary, and secondary schools.

Mothers in attendance also had the chance to celebrate one another as they took to the dance stage to rejoice together.

Beyond the festivities, our Mother’s Day event provided a moment for reflection and gratitude for the indispensable roles that mothers play in the lives of their children and families.

Following a series of heartwarming performances by our students and staff, our mothers were treated to a reception, continuing the celebration in high spirits.
