Greensprings student- First in the CEO Apprentice competition

Ugochukwu Ajaero, a year 11 student of Greensprings school rang the closing bell at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The closing of the bell was captured and broadcast on CNBC news.

In addition, Ajaero and his team members who participated in The CEO Apprentice 2017 program organized by Microsoft in conjunction with Businessday won the first prize for their fashion app- ‘Follow Follow’.

‘Follow Follow’ is a fashion app that allows its users to take a picture of a particular fashion item, and with the use of technology, the application will be able to inform the user, where to purchase the item of clothing.

As part of the program, 45 young CEO’s had the opportunity to travel to Ogun State to visit the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library and meet with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The former Head of State and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria encouraged the young CEOs and gave them valuable business advice.
