Greensprings School has emerged victorious in the 20th edition of the highly competitive Doregos Inter-School Basketball Competition held at Doregos Private Academy, Ayobo. The event, which took place on Thursday, 13th February 2025, saw 23 schools from Lagos and Ogun State showcasing exceptional basketball talent among young athletes.
In the girls’ final match, Greensprings School faced a tough challenge against Lagoon Secondary School, Lekki. The intense and thrilling encounter saw the Greensprings team exhibit remarkable resilience and tactical prowess, ultimately securing victory with a final score of 25–17. With this impressive win, Greensprings School was crowned the overall winner of the competition.
A standout performer in the tournament was Adebajo Aderinsola, who was awarded the prestigious Most Valuable Player (MVP) title for her outstanding contributions and consistent excellence on the court.
