AISEN U-17 Basketball: Lekki Boys & Anthony Girls Grab 2nd Place Positions

The annual U-17 basketball competition which was held on Saturday, 11th of February was organized for both boys’ and girls’ categories. The highly competitive tournament was nothing short of mind-blowing, as all participating teams gave their best to win. A total number of 17 schools participated in this category of the competition.

At the end of the rounds of the competition, both our boys’ basketball team from Lekki campus and our girl’s basketball team from Anthony campus secured silver medals in their respective categories.

For the boys’ category, the event was hosted by Avi-Cenna GRA, Ikeja, while for the girls’ category, Grange School, GRA, Ikeja was the venue.

The schools were grouped into different pools and they played against each other.

The top schools from each pool advanced to the knockout stages of the competition, where they played elimination matches against each other until a winner was determined.

The AISEN U-17 basketball competition is a platform for young players to gain experience, develop their skills, and compete against other schools for championship positions.
