In celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, we held a National Day event across our campuses on Friday, 27th of September 2024. This year’s theme, “Our Nigeria, Our Future… Building Tomorrow Together,” was chosen to inspire our students and staff to reflect on the role they can play in shaping a brighter future for Nigeria.
The day was packed with cultural activities, where students showcased their talents through inspiring presentations and performances. These included drama, poetry, traditional dances, and musical renditions, all celebrating the rich diversity of our nation.
The students’ enthusiasm and creativity reflected their deep sense of national pride, and their performances expressed the shared hope for a united and prosperous Nigeria.
With a renewed emphasis on preserving the values that define our nation’s greatness, the Head of Schools reaffirmed Greensprings’ dedication to cultivating responsible, patriotic citizens who will play a vital role in shaping the country’s future.
As the event drew to a close, vibrant food stalls were set up, offering a delightful variety of traditional Nigerian dishes. This provided guests and staff with the opportunity to indulge in the rich flavours of the nation’s culinary heritage.
