The final showdown of the 19th edition of the Doregos Inter-School Basketball Championship took place on February 8th, 2024 at Ayobo, Lagos, and in an exhilarating showcase of skill, resilience, and sportsmanship, our Anthony Campus Girls’ basketball team secured the silver medal, adding a prestigious accolade to their remarkable journey in the competition.
The championship dunked off in November 2023, featuring intense zonal preliminaries with twenty schools from different zones within Lagos and Ogun states. Before emerging at the final, our girls played six games and extra times, navigating past two formidable opponents.
At the final, they exhibited commendable skill and determination, securing the silver medal in a closely contested match. This achievement is a testament to months of hard work, dedication, and passion for the game.
