Greensprings’ Alumna Gets 100% Scholarship From The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

Bimpe Giwa, former Head Girl (Class of 2016/17, Anthony Campus) has been offered a full scholarship to study at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the United States.

Last year, she took the Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT) and had a score of 516 equivalent to 92%. After a series of rigorous interviews, she was offered a full scholarship to Medical School.

Bimpe is the founder of Rubie Health Foundation, a youth-driven and non-profit organisation dedicated to improving health awareness and increasing the prevention of life-threatening conditions in Nigeria. According to her, starting up this non-profit inspired her to go for a Master’s Degree in Public Health.

She graduated from Howard University with B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She is currently undergoing a Master’s Degree in Public Health at The Dartmouth Institute.
