The May edition of our career webinar was about how to become a pilot, and the event served as a forerunner to our soon-to-be-launched air-and-sea labs. The speaker at the virtual event is a Commercial Pilot at Aero Contractors Airline and a Lawyer. Using her personal experience, she spoke to our students on how they can prepare for a career in the aviation industry.
The specific things she talked about include the process of getting a pilot license in flight academies in Nigeria and abroad; the challenges, risks and opportunities of being a pilot; work-life balance for a pilot; the pathway to a rewarding career in aviation industry; among others.
