As a result of the recent social unrest in the country and widespread of fake news on social media, we arranged a webinar on personal safety and security for our staff. The webinar was put together by Mrs Cynthia Odunaiya, our Head of Human Resources, and Mr Sulyman Fasasi, Head of Security and Safety, was the facilitator.

The webinar was titled “Impact of Social Media on Personal Security and Safety,” and during the programme, Mr Fasasi offered tips on how to verify the truthfulness of viral social media posts. More importantly, he also shared expert advice on surviving a protest and other social crises.
